EdSmart Overview

EdSmart is a cloud-based School Organisation System (SOS) for digital administration and communication. The platform streamlines operations and improves productivity for individual and multi-campus schools, school bodies and school networks.

Tasks that previously relied on significant human labour are transformed into invisible processes that take care of themselves. Staff time is liberated, information is available at a glance, and data is aggregated for more robust analysis and insights.

EdSmart is easy to use, yet can save you and your school significant amounts of time.

  1. Set up Student Lists with Students and their Parent Contacts via the web browser interface, we can import from your school management system or discuss integration for real time data exchange
  2. Create a new Slip using a template from the Library; roll-your-own with the Form Builder; or just copy a Slip used before; upload files; display a map of the activity’s location
  3. EdSmart sends an email and/or text message to the parents asking them to respond
  4. The parents click a link in the message, open a web page and give their answer – from their computer, tablet or smart phone
  5. You can opt for our Two Factor Authentication option, which requires parents to create a password using a code sent to their mobile phone
  6. After they submit their reply, parents receive an email confirmation
  7. You track responses via the web site, and print detailed reports. It even shows you if the parent has opened the email but not replied
