Example Letter to Parents introducing them to EdSmart
Dear Parent,
Our school is now using EdSmart to make communication between school and parents more streamlined, safer and less stressful for you. It is an Australian tool trusted by hundreds of schools to improve communication in the school community, and we're proud to be doing the same.
EdSmart is a cloud-based software that enables schools to handle all communication with parents electronically. It will mainly be used to collect permission, send information to a wider audience and allow parents to initiate forms regarding absences, subject change, enrolments etc. Other schools
in the EdSmart customer community report that their parents greatly appreciate the tool and it has saved them plenty of time and worry.
Here's how it works
You will be sent an email notification with a link to click which opens a secure web page version of the form to complete and submit. These links can be accessed on your phone, tablet or computer at your convenience.
All of the data you submit in the forms is held in a secure database only accessible to authorised school staff and EdSmart personnel.
EdSmart will help us better manage any needs in the school community with the extra time saved. Another bonus is that we'll be reducing our carbon footprint and cost significantly.
You can learn more about EdSmart at https://edsmart.com/parents and if you have any questions, we welcome them.
