Overview
EdSmart’s Absentee feature is your tool to automate and streamline the administration of absence notifications and responses between schools and Parents/Guardians daily.
EdSmart automatically reads absentees from your Student Management System and sends communications to parents and guardians of absent students daily via email and/or text message (SMS).
This communication allows Parents and Guardians to submit a reason for each absence.

Returned Absentee Slips can be viewed in the EdSmart platform within a student’s record.
