Creating a Parent Teacher Event

A Parent Interviews Event, which is a period of time of which you would like multiple interviews to occur. (days, weeks, or even months). An Event will have a Start Date and an End Date.

Parent Interview Sessions cannot be organised until an Event has been created.

To create an Event, navigate to the ‘Parent Interviews’ section from the left-hand navigation panel.

Select the ‘Add New Event’ button.

Until an event is created, this page will reflect ‘No Records’

From here, you will be prompted to select an Event Name and Event Dates. These are mandatory fields. Similar to Slips and Forms, you also have the capacity to save the Event to a Folder.

The Event Name will be displayed via ‘Parent Interviews’, and all the Sessions created by the school will be created from within the Event.

The Event Dates are the First and Last days your school would like interviews to be held.

Once you are happy with your set up, click the blue ‘Add New Event’ button.

Once selected, you will be directed to the Event screen. From here, you can edit your event as necessary by amending the Event Name or the Event Dates. For more information, please visit 'Editing a Parent Teacher Event'.

Please be advised: It is best practice to ensure the Event Dates are not amended after sending out and receiving bookings for Sessions. This does not auto-cancel the pre-booked session on that date. All Sessions requiring cancellation will need to be cancelled individually and with intention.

 

If you do not wish to Edit your Event, click the blue ‘Return to Parent Interviews Events’ button.

You will be redirected to the ‘Parent Interviews Events' screen, which is the same screen you see when selecting ‘Parent Interviews’ from the left-hand navigation panel.
