Parent Teacher Interviews: The Parent/Caregiver Experience
Similar to receiving a Slip or a Broadcast, a Parent/Caregiver will receive an email outlining the details filled in when Creating Parent Teacher Interview Sessions from an Event using the Default Parent Teacher Form Template.
The Session Title will be the Email Subject, with the relevant Student name in square brackets.
The body of the email will contain the ‘Information’ part of the Session, followed by a unique link for the Parent/Caregiver to click to book their interviews.
From here, the recipient can select ‘Book Now’ for preferred interview times for each Staff User. Additionally, they can also utilise the ‘Bookings for’ drop-down to select a student for siblings/families who have all received the same session.
The Parent/Caregiver also will be unable to select ‘book now’ if a Staff User was predetermined as ‘Not Available' for the Session set up via the Schedule Tab.
When a Parent/Caregiver books a slot for one Staff User, the remaining slots will automatically reflect as ‘Not Available’, and the chosen slot will reflect as ‘Booked’ for that Staff User.
The other Staff User will show as ‘Not Available’ for the time booked for the previous Staff User
Once a time has been booked for all relevant Staff Users, the remaining slots will be flagged as ‘Not Available’, and the chosen slots will reflect as ‘Booked’.
Once finalised, the Parent/Caregiver can click the blue ‘Mail Bookings’ button to email themselves a summary of their bookings for that Student.
