EdSmart Integration with Humanitix

Humanitix is the humane ticketing platform that allows users to design their events and merchandise their tickets online. Humanitix turns every event into an opportunity to help disadvantaged kids access education, healthcare, and a fair go in life.

EdSmart schools can plan and take payments and bookings for events and excursions through our Humanitix integration.

Pre-requisite

  1. The Humanitix feature should be enabled for the school. If it is not enabled, contact Edsmart Support to activate the feature.

  2. The school needs to log into Humanitix and create an event. The Event URL generated will be used in the Parent Slip. Copy the Event URL into the Parent Slip shown below.

Once the event has been created, the Event URL will be generated and is located in Overview > Event URL. Please see the screenshot below highlighting the Event URL in red.

Configuring the feature in the Parent slip

When a school sets up a Parent Slip, they can configure a connection to ticketing by adding the Event URL in the Humanitix section. Then the Event Name is required.

Users can decide if a payment is required, either for all responses or only where the response is positive eg. ‘We Will Attend’.

Parent Response

When the parent opens their form, they see a box advising a purchase is needed.

Clicking the button opens up a window where the parents can fill out the details and book tickets.

  1. Parents can select the number of tickets that they require.

2. Parents need to enter their details and select Register.

3. They will be redirected to the Response Page where they can continue with the Form and submit the response to the school.

Reporting

EdSmart displays the booking information submitted by the parent in the response tab, which can be used for reporting by the schools.
