Activity Care

If the Activity Care Module is enabled for your school the Student View page shows an Activity Care tab. This displays Student Attributes which have been configured as ‘care module’ fields by EdSmart for your school.

You can create any number of Student Attributes to store information for a student, and data can be imported from your student management system database.

And because these fields are Student Attributes they can also be used on Forms/Slips sent to Parents and Students.

Open

To set up attributes for a student as Activity Care (To do this you need to be an Administrator):

1. Click on (Your Name) on the top right-hand corner

2. Select Settings

3. Student Attributes

4. Select the Edit button in Edit Column.

5. Assign the Student Attribute as Activity Care

6. Select Update Attribute

This will enable the Student Attribute to appear in the Activity Care tab.

Open

The Student Attributes assigned to Activity Care can be configured to trigger Medical Alerts. 

Once the Activity Care Attributes and Medical Alerts have been configured they can be leveraged to appear in the Staff Only Mobile app.

Add/Remove Files in Activity Care tab

EdSmart Administrators can also delete or upload files directly to a Student’s Activity Care tab. The list of allowable file types is: PDF, DOC, DOCX, JPG, JPEG, and PNG.
The maximum size per file is 5MB.

To upload a file, click the green Add files button, and confirm upload. To delete a file from Activity Care, click the red cross button to the right of the file’s name in the Delete column.
