Exporting Data from Parent Slips

Data can be exported from a Parent Slip in a number of ways. When viewing the list of Slip Responses you have the following options:

Print List

Prints a simple list of Responses, basically the same view shown on the Responses list.

Export List

Exports the complete data set for the Slip, is emailed to you as a CSV, so easily opened in Excel. You have the option of sending the file to yourself, or another User. You can select if you want:

  • Submitted values - for Student Attributes, these values might have subsequently changed so you can request the values at the moment of submission

  • Current values - for Student Attributes, the current values irrespective of what was submitted on the form

Export Only Student Attributes on Slip

If you have Student Attribute fields on the Form Template for the Slip, exports a CSV of just Student Attribute fields.You can select if you want:

  • Submitted values - for Student Attributes, these values might have subsequently changed so you can request the values at the moment of submission

  • Current values - for Student Attributes, the current values irrespective of what was submitted on the form

Export Only Student Attributes Updated on Slip

As above, but only the values that changed when the Parent submitted the Slip. Great if you are wanting just the updated information to import or transcribe into your student management database.

Print Submitted Forms

Prints the submitted values for each student.

Print Forms not Submitted

Prints Slips for Students for whom the online Slip has not been submitted - can be useful if you have a parent without internet access.

Print Forms not Submitted, no email/mobile

As for Prints Slips for Students but filtered to only Parent Contacts who do not have email/mobile, which means there is no chance they will be sent an electronic notification.

Print Blank Form

Generate a print copy of the form without any specific student information, so can be handed to anyone for completion.

Filter and Export

Filter your responses as per your criteria to export a filtered view of the responses.

Download ZIP of uploaded files

You can download a zipped file parents that have uploaded a file within the response. This ZIP file will containing all uploaded from parents with each file within the ZIP containing Unique ID and the name of the student the file was uploaded for. For more information click here.
