Reading Synergetic data into EdSmart

There are 3 methods that can be used to read data from Synergetic into EdSmart.

1. SynAPI - Set up by Synergetic, but limited in the data that can be provided to EdSmart.  To set it up, contact Synergetic to activate then contact EdSmart with connection details.
2. SQL connection - Allows flexibility in the data that can be sent to EdSmart but involves opening your school firewall to enable a TCP connection.
3. Azure Hybrid Connection Manager - Allows all of the flexibility of a standard SQL connection without opening the firewall for the TCP connection. More information here.
