Locked or Duplicate Staff User Accounts

Locked Users

Your EdSmart account will be locked if you have entered an incorrect password 3 or more times when logging in or while changing password. 

Please note that if your school uses Single-Sign-On (SSO), EdSmart does not have a password saved for the user, so any attempted password may be incorrect.

Please contact the EdSmart Administrator for your school to unlock your account and ensure you are using the correct sign-in procedure, for example Google or Office365 button, or a custom domain such as 'schoolname.edsmart.com'.

Administrators can unlock accounts by selecting Users tab > View User > Edit User > Change Status to 'Active' > Save User.

Duplicate Users

If you are an Administrator and you see duplicate accounts for a user, please Contact Support and we will merge their accounts.
