DECYP - Broadcast Statistics: Broadcasts to Siblings
Occasionally, Contacts in EdSmart will have more than one Student linked to their name.
For example, Fran Cow has 2 Students; Gail Cow and Jake Cow
Sally Horse also has 2 Students; Jim Horse and Ben Horse.
Scenario
As siblings, Jim and Ben are in the same HomeGroup. This is reflected in a Student List
Jake and Gail are also in the same HomeGroup, but a different one to Jim and Ben.
A Broadcast is sent out to both Homegroups for communications
Here’s how the Statistics read.
By design, EdSmart will only send out 1 Broadcast per family, so Contacts don't receive duplicate communications.
As a result of this, via the red boxes, whilst there are 4 Students reflected in the Statistics list, only 2 communication pieces went out: One to the Horse family, and one to the Cow family. This is the logic behind STUDENTS: 2.
The blue boxes represent the percentage of those communications read. One Broadcast sent per family means the green tick next to ‘Ben Horse’ makes up 50% of the total communications sent out.
2 Broadcasts, one read = 50% of the emails sent were opened.
