Smooth Transition: Notifying EdSmart of Planned Integration Changes for Uninterrupted Access

At EdSmart, we strive to provide you with uninterrupted access to our services, even when you decide to make adjustments to your integrated tech stack.

We understand that schools occasionally need to transition to different IT platforms, and we're here to support you through this process. While some changes may not affect your EdSmart instance, others can potentially disrupt crucial integration channels and halt automatic data syncing.

Our dedicated team works diligently to address integration issues, although we cannot always guarantee an immediate resolution when changes are implemented on your end.

To help minimise any potential downtime, we kindly request that you notify us of any planned changes as soon as you begin scoping changes with a minimum of four weeks notice. This advanced notice allows us to take proactive steps to ensure a smooth transition and maintain uninterrupted access to EdSmart.

You can notify our support team of your impending change by raising a Support ticket (help@edsmart.com or via the Support Portal) containing the following details:

  1. Date of planned change/update

  2. What you are changing/updating from

  3. What you are changing/updating to

  4. Any dependencies you have with this change.

Once your integration change request has been submitted, we will scope, schedule tasks and communicate timelines. Not all change is the same - some requests may take longer to process, depending on the complexity of the change.
