Allow school Administrators to set default User & Group settings

Did you know you can set new user/user groups that get imported through to EdSmart with default permission settings?

If these settings are enabled, it would mean that when new users are imported through they would automatically be assigned limited access to the platform.

Permissions like:

  • Read-only access to the platform (i.e. Imported users will not be able to edit Broadcasts, Slips or Forms).

  • View only User's Slips/Forms (Imported users will only be able to see the slips/forms that they have created and not anyone else’s).

To update this setting:

  1. Select your Username on the top-right hand corner.

  2. Click on Settings.

  3. Select the Configuration menu.

  4. Toggle the Read Only or View Only User’s Slips/Forms to Yes.

  5. Click Save to update these changes.
