EdSmart uses templates as the basis of all slips that you send.

Hints before building a Slip template:

It is always better to try and build a more generic template than one that is very specific to an activity - where possible.
Avoid using specific dates in a template - it limits when you can use it. Put the date in when you create a slip.
It is better to create a blank field in the school's activity section - this means not filling in the details of the activity or a specific date. This limits its use. It is better to put these details in when you create the specific slip to be sent out.
