Dear Parent,
Our school is now using EdSmart to make communication between school and parents more streamlined, safer and less stressful for you.
EdSmart is a digital system that replaces all those paper forms we used to send home for you to complete and return. It is an Australian tool trusted by hundreds of schools to improve communication in the school community, and we're proud to be doing the same.
Best of all, it does all the work. You do not need to download any apps or remember extra passwords, registrations or logins, no extra hassle for you. No more writing down the same information again and again. Other schools in the EdSmart customer community report that their parents are greatly appreciative of the tool and it has saved them plenty of time and worry.
Here's how it works
Instead of paper forms coming home in your child’s school bag, you will be sent an email notification with a link to click that opens a secure web page version of the form to complete and submit.
You can do this on your phone, tablet or computer at your convenience.
All of the data you submit in the forms is held in a secure database only accessible to selected school staff.
EdSmart will help us better manage any needs in the school community with the extra time saved. Another bonus is that we'll be reducing our carbon footprint and cost significantly.
You can learn more about EdSmart at https://edsmart.com/parents and if you have any questions we welcome them.
Privacy & Data Security
EdSmart is ISO/IEC 27001:2013 accredited which refers specifically to the requirements for establishing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system within the context of an organisation.
As David Eedle, CEO of EdSmart states, “We’ve always aimed for the highest standards of confidentiality, integrity and availability at EdSmart, and it’s now very reassuring to know that the standards we uphold have been given the stamp of approval as part of this official ISO 27001 certification process.”
“As we’ve all witnessed recently, data breaches can have grave and cascading implications,” he continues. “This certification tells our customers and EdTech partners that we understand they entrust us with their student, parent and staff information, and it’s our responsibility to safeguard it.”
