DECYP school absentee notifications are run on a central schedule and are editable by the DECYP team.

The following schedule has been established for DECYP sites:
Whilst the configuration and management are via DECYP, you can see the absentee forms sent each day in the Parent Slips section of EdSmart by clicking the option on the left menu.

DECYP sites have a 30-minute data sync to capture reports of student absentees throughout the hours of 9:00 AM AEST to 3:00 PM AEST. |
The Absentee Slip will be automatically created in EdSmart, and the Notification of Absences will be sent to Parents/Guardians within 5 minutes of each ingest time.

If a student is marked absent after each window, they will be processed in the next batch (i.e., those marked absent at 10:05 AM will be processed in the 10:30 AM Ingest and Notification run)
