EdSmart is integrated to the Office 365 Sign-In system, which means your staff can sign into EdSmart using their school-issued Office 365 accounts.

This is not enabled by default. In order to configure this please contact us:

  1. You need to tell us your Office 365 domain
  2. You must choose whether or not EdSmart should automatically create Users when staff log in.
    • If this is not enabled, then only staff who already have a User account configured in EdSmart will be able to sign in.

We may be able to sync your Staff Users from your student management system to ensure everyone has User records in EdSmart - for example so they can be selected on workflows, even if they have not yet signed into EdSmart.

If you have students (or other non-staff) on the same Office domain, then we will discuss with you how to filter these out. For example, we can read fields like 'Department' to achieve this.

Once Office 365 Sign-In is configured, go to the Sign In page and click the 'Sign in with Microsoft' button.
