EdSmart previously used to send an Email to Parents for each Student added in the Broadcast, this resulted in multiple emails sent to Parents with the same message if more than one student from the same family was included in the Broadcast. 

This was raised by some of our Schools and we have addressed this by making some modifications to the logic, Parents will no longer get multiple emails if more than one child from their home is sent a Broadcast.
