To enhance the security of our Schoolbox and EdSmart authentication we’ve updated the way we configure the integration and have augmented our authentication. This also requires the a change to be managed for by the customerschool, please see below.

Update Details

  1. Changes to the Schoolbox integration to open EdSmart in a new window/tab instead of an iframe inside the Schoolbox app.

  2. This allows EdSmart to positively authenticate each forms request.

  3. The complete update requires schools to change their Destination URLs in Schoolbox to take advantage of this by adding "/window" to all EdSmart URLs.
