Upload is via CSV, the file must contain the User Email Address, User ID and any number of other columns for the Attributes.

After upload, the columns can be mapped to Attributes.
NOTE:
Generating User ID's for the import
The User attributes import matches Users by EdSmart User Id value , this information is not available in the application and can be found in bulk through the Export action. As shown in the screenshot, go to Users page in EdSmart and click on Actions dropdown and select Export Users
A CSV file will be generated with the User ID's of all the Users as shown below, use this information in the Attributes import file that you are planning to use and upload to EdSmart

This feature is enabled on a per school account basis, you may need to Contact Support have it enabled for your school.
