📔 Overview
DECYP Schools now have the option to view Absentee Reports for a specific day in a centralised space, creating easement for larger volumes of absences in a day.

Select ‘Absentee Report’ from the navigation menu on the left-hand side.

The Absentee Report will be displayed in the main content window on the right-hand side.

You will see the following individual columns:

1 | Student Id | This column lists the student IDs from Edupoint, the Department for Education, Children and Young People's Student Information System. |
2 | Student Name | This column lists the student name from Edupoint, the Department for Education, Children and Young People's Student Information System. |
3 | Slip Sent Date | This column lists the date the slip was sent to the Parent/Guardian. |
4 | Response Date | This column lists the date the Parent/Guardian responded. |
5 | Response Contact Name | This column lists the name of the Parent/Guardian who responded. |
6 | Reason | This column lists the reason for the absence provided by the Parent/Guardian. |
7 | Other Reason | |
8 | Return Date | |
9 | Processed |
The Absentee Report defaults to today’s date. You can change this by selecting the date you wish to work with. Choose the date and click the magnifying glass search button 🔍 .

If an Absentee Slip has not been updated or acknowledged by the Parent/Guardian, the ‘Response Date’ columns will advise ‘Not Responded’

If an Absentee Slip has been updated/acknowledged by the Parent/Guardian, the ‘Response Date’ columns will advise:
The date and time the response was submitted
Who submitted the response
The reason given by the Parent/Guardian explaining the absence

From here, the ‘Processed’ column allows the User to update the drop-down option to ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ as this is manually actioned in EduPoint. The drop-down default is ‘N/A’
