Passwords are encrypted in our database, so they cannot be retrieved by Customer Support. If you forget your password, you must initiate an automated password reset.

SSO password resets are managed by the SSO provider/School, not EdSmart. If you need need to change your SSO password, follow your school's SSO password reset process.


To begin the process, click the User SIGN IN button at the top right.



 Underneath the Email (your EdSmart user name) and Password fields, there is a Lost Parent password? | Lost School User password? link - click it. 

A new Reset Password window will open. Enter your EdSmart username email address and click the Reset Password button.



An email will be sent to you containing a secure link that enables you to reset your password. Click the link and enter a new password.



Reset link expiry

The reset link will only be valid for 60 minutes, after which you will need to go through the process again.
